These home decor banners are sold at retail through a variety of companies including Menards, Walmart, Lowes, and Miles Kimball. I license my artwork to companies who use it to make their products. I've build a nice relationship with these companies and really enjoy seeing my artwork for sale in stores : )
These projects let me experiment and explore new illustrative styles and design techniques. I use whatever medium or style I feel will fit the specific holiday, season, event, or theme. Sometimes I'm simply painting with watercolor. Other times I'm using Photoshop to composite a wacom tablet drawing and a scan of one of my grandmother's quilts. I enjoy the freedom to create something new, and the stores' customers seem to like them—and they continue to buy them.
